endeavour.To propel LCETs forward, the WorldEconomic Forum and major chemical-sectorcompanies founded the Low-Carbon EmittingTechnologies Initiative. While offering significantdecarbonization opportunities to all industrialvalue chains,LCETs still face various challenges.The development and upscaling of LCETs dependstrongly on favourable policy environments,rangingfrom monetary incentives to demand-side policies.
